The Millennium turns with only a slight amount of chaos, mostly caused by mayhem
created by nervous religious zealots and computer geeks.
2010~
The Manned Space Station is finally completed, mostly with American and British
dollars, as the rest of the world fails in their promised funding.
2025~
Man finally reaches Mars, years behind schedule.
2035~
A another space station is built in orbit around the moon. Hard line mining of
the moon begins and space production is in full throttle.
2040~
China enters the space race with the completion of their Earth Orbiter, a small
space station designed mainly as a manufacturing station.
2050~
The Mars Orbiting Space Station is completed. Barely what could be considered an
outpost, it soon spreads and construction begins on the much larger Gates Corp.

Britain, the USA, China, the European Coalition, Japan, and the Arabian Empire
all emerge as dominate world powers.
2069~
A small skirmish between Arabian Empire and European Coalition forces, draws
political lines that will later cause much warfare to erupt.

The Japanese Revolution brings about the end of the Japanese Parliament and the
rise of the old royal family.
2110~
Small colonies appear on Mars and the moon. Other space stations appear around
Venus and Jupiter, mainly as either gas or ore mining facilities.
2135~
Major cities become common on Mars and a real push towards Terra-Forming the
planet begins.
2166~
Gates Corp creates the first Gravity Inducer, marketed exclusively for the
American Military, who once again moves to the forefront. Creative use by the
Americans allows for small energy sources to be created and the Americans spread
to the moons of the outer planets, establishing mining colonies and spurring
trade and economic growth for the nation. Colonies appear on Pluto as stations
appear around Neptune and Uranus.

Humanity has established itself either on or around [in orbit] each planet in
the solar system. America is the dominant nation throughout the system, with the
British Empire and the Chinese Republic not far behind.
2220~
System War strikes the known solar system when an Arabian battleship causes an
orbiting mining facility owned by a European Coalition citizen to be destroyed.
2245~
Peace finally comes to humanity with the United Nations Council rising to the
forefront and the signing of the Geneva Convention Resolution on Space Freedom
and Colonization Act and the formation of the Solar Senate. This allows each
nation on earth a position on the Solar Senate and a vote determined by overall
citizen population. Forming of the Senate is lead by the Chinese Republic, and
the British Empire, both nations who have an overwhelming population compared to
the other nations on Earth.
